Turn the swingarm upside down and remove the spacer from the cushion
rod mount. Feel the movement of rollers of bearings on either side
of the mount with your fingers. The rollers should move without
any stiction. Replace bearing(s) if you feel any stiction or hesitation.
Clean the spacer and bearing surfaces with a rag to remove old grease.
Inspect the spacer for damage; replace if necessary. Apply a high-quality
bearing grease liberally to the bearings and spacer. Reinstall the
spacer.
