Step 9 Insert the new brake pads into the caliper. Install the pad mounting pin and tighten it to 16 N-m (1.6 kgf-m, 11.6 lb-ft) with a 5mm allen socket wrench. Re-insert the retaining clip and install the caliper spring using the two bolts.
